Heather is an experienced Health and Physical Education educator with extensive experience across secondary and tertiary education. She is currently Leader of Learning HPE at Riccarton High School and has previously worked with PENZ as a National Subject Advisor and with the University of Canterbury in teacher education.

Heather brings deep curriculum and assessment knowledge, alongside a strong understanding of the realities of teaching and learning in schools. She is passionate about high-quality, inclusive physical education and the role it can play in supporting meaningful experiences and outcomes for all ākonga.
