Heather Lindsay is an experienced Health and Physical Education educator with more than 30 years across secondary teaching, tertiary education, and national curriculum development. She is currently Leader of Learning HPE at Riccarton High School, where she leads curriculum innovation, mentors colleagues, and supports high‑quality teaching and learning.

A former Senior Tutor at the University of Canterbury, Heather has taught across multiple undergraduate programmes, contributed to course design and assessment, and supported student wellbeing and professional practice. She has also served nationally as PENZ National Subject Advisor, advising educators on curriculum, pedagogy, and assessment, and contributing to major Ministry of Education initiatives.

Heather brings deep curriculum expertise and a strong understanding of contemporary teaching practice. She is passionate about inclusive, meaningful physical education and the role it plays in supporting positive, values‑driven learning experiences for all ākonga.
