Research into PracticeA PENZ FORMAT
The main format for presenting individual research at the PENZ International Conference. Present to a mixed audience of educators, researchers and other PE professionals, and address four questions: What did we investigate? What did we learn? Why does it matter? What might this mean for Physical Education practice?
Your research doesn't need to produce a ready-made classroom strategy. The aim is to make it understandable and relevant, so it can contribute to professional thinking and practice beyond a specialist audience.

Practice in Action
Hands-on, interactive or movement-based sessions, led by teachers, researchers, teacher educators or other practitioners. Participants should be actively involved throughout: this is not an extended presentation.

20 MINUTES
Practice Exchange
Show us something that works in your context, and help others understand how they could use or adapt it. A short, practitioner-led session, and a great first step if you've never presented at a conference. You don't need to frame it as research.
For example: teaching approaches, learning designs, resources, curriculum implementation, assessment approaches, culturally responsive practice, innovative learning experiences, professional learning or other examples of practice.

Symposium / Roundtable
A coordinated session in which several contributors explore a shared issue, body of research, professional question or area of practice. A place for deeper scholarly and professional discussion between researchers, educators and mixed groups.

DAY TWO LUNCH
Poster / Research Conversation
For postgraduate and emerging researchers, research projects, work in progress, emerging findings, practitioner inquiry, and research that benefits from direct discussion. Posters are part of the Day Two lunch and Research Conversations, with authors on hand to talk with delegates.
