Claire Waring is the Business Manager for Physical Education New Zealand (PENZ), supporting the team and overseeing the day-to-day operations of the organisation. With a diverse role spanning administration, membership services, events, and finance, Claire helps ensure everything runs smoothly so PENZ can continue supporting quality physical education across Aotearoa New Zealand.

• Assisting members with membership enquiries and support
• Managing and maintaining the PENZ membership systems
• Coordinating annual membership renewals
• Organising PENZ events and workshops, and providing conference administration support
• Handling accounts and financial enquiries

As a key point of contact at PENZ, Claire enjoys helping members navigate their PENZ journey and connecting them with the information, resources, and support they need. Having been with the organisation since 2017, she has developed a strong understanding of PENZ and the people who make up its vibrant professional community.

Based in Tauranga, Claire enjoys spending time outdoors with her family, training for running events including trail and marathons, and embracing the active lifestyle that the Bay of Plenty has to offer.
