Trevor Garrett has served as the Patron of Physical Education New Zealand (PENZ) since 2011, bringing decades of leadership and dedication to the organisation. He previously held two terms as president of the New Zealand Association of Health, Physical Education, and Recreation (now PENZ) from 1980–1983 and 1985–1986.
In 2015, Trevor was honoured with the Te Iho-Tākaro Ringawera Award for his outstanding contributions to the profession. With his wealth of experience, Trevor continues to work closely with the Board, supporting PENZ’s mission to advance health and physical education in Aotearoa.
